Parents,

I have attached our game schedule for this fall.  You may want to pass it out to family & friends.  We love to have lots of folks cheering for our kids at our games!  We will discuss the details of the schedule at our practice next week.  However, if you have any questions about the schedule before then, please feel free to ask.  The "Home/Visitor" designation is just so we know who will kick off to start the game.

A couple of things:

1.) Please take a look at the schedule & figure out what will be a good date(s) for you to provide the snack for our team after the game.  You will notice that we have more games than we have kids.  So, that means that some of us will need to sign up for more than one date.  I'll have the sign-up sheet available at our practice next week.

2.)Here is the pricing information for our parent shirts: $8.75/shirt.  Name(s) on the back of the shirt are $3.50 extra per shirt.  Also, for some reason, we did not get maroon jerseys as I requested.  Our jerseys are a teal color.  So, the parent shirts will be teal with our Dolphins logo on the front.  If your soccer player has a sibling(s) you may want to order a shirt for them as well.  Can I ask you to get an order together for me by this Friday at noon?  Call Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles & anyone else that might want a shirt.  If you will get your order to me by Friday, I'll place the order this weekend and hopefully have them ready for our first game.  Please email me with your order request.  Please have the money for your order ready at our practice next Tuesday.  My wife & I will pay for the total order in advance, so if you're writing a check, please make it out to Gabe Duron.  If you're paying by cash, please bring exact change.  For Alex & Taelynn's parents, since they changed our team color from last year, you may want to re-order shirts...

Please let me know if you have any questions.  Our first game weekend is almost here!

Cruise 2 Progreso & Cozumel

abe & Aimee took a cruise with Chris & Katie Baur on June 22-27, 2009. We went to Progreso Yucatan & Cozumel. We had a great time! Here are just a few of the many pictures that we took.

The Bounce

We went to Bryan on June 19 so Braden & Bryce could go "bounce"! They loved every minute of it. Braden love sliding down all of the slides and Bryce was just content to play with the balls. Here are a few pictures and videos of their fun time.

Swimming Pool

Today we finally got out Braden & Bryce's swimming pool. Braden picked it out because he loves Marty the Zebra from Madagascar. He keeps asking me, "Can we go outside and play with Marty?, Please, Momma!" Here are a few pictures and videos of our wonderful time.

Braden just getting in and playing with Marty's head.

Braden swimming around on his tummy in the pool.

This video show Braden playing with Marty and giving him water. He is very thirsty!

Braden and Bryce playing together in the pool. This was Bryce's first time in a pool and was very shocked that the water was not warm like his bath water. He didn't really want to stay in until Momma got in with him.

This video is of Braden sliding down the slide and then splashing in the pool.

Braden & Bryce's Joint Birthday Party

Wuela Duron & Aunt Amy had a joint birthday party for Braden & Bryce on Saturday, May 23, 2009. The theme was Madagascar. We had hamburgers & hot dogs made by Uncle Chris. We also had a "Big Jump" for all of the kids to jump in and have fun. Everyone was having a great time outside until the rains came and then we had to move the end of the party inside. We had cake and opened presents inside and broke a pinata. All in all it was a great party and a great day!

Braden just chillin' before the party!

Driving thru the Grapeland Safari

We went to the Grapeland Safari today. This was Braden's 4th time to go but it was Bryce's 1st time. However, Braden has not been in over a year so it was all new again. They both loved seeing all of the different kinds of animals. The challenge was not to run over the animals as they were coming up to the truck to get food. It is a drive thru park so it is drive at your own risk! BTW, most of these pics are the backs of our heads because we are all looking out the window at the animals.

Gabe & Braden looking for some animals to feed.

Aimee & Bryce enjoying the view.

Bryce spots his first animal and it is a BIG one!

Gabe feeding the camel while Braden is watching because he is just not sure!

Braden decided he wanted to feed the camel too.

A view from the side mirror to see Bryce's face as he is looking for the animals.

Braden & Bryce looking at the huge Pot belly Pig. They were everywhere. The pig is just behind Bryce's head.

Bryce was facinated by all of the Pot Belly Pigs.

Braden decided he wanted to drive to take us to the next set of animals.

The end of the trip and back in their seats . . . they had a great time!
